Privacy Statement for Apartment Owners (version: March 2023) PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR APARTMENT OWNERS 1. Purpose of the statement 1.1. AAPC Limited (ACN 009 175 820) and its related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) ("Accor Group", "us" or "we") recognise that privacy is important and are committed to protecting personal information that they collect. 1.2. The purpose of this privacy statement is to clearly describes how personal information is collected, used and disclosed by the Accor Group in the course of our commercial letting arrangements with apartment owners. 1.3. We are committed to protecting your personal information. By submitting your personal information to us, or by using our services, you acknowledge and consent to us using your personal information in accordance with this statement. 1.4. We may update this privacy statement from time to time. A copy of this privacy statement can be obtained by making a request in writing directed to our company's Privacy Officer. 1.5. This privacy statement sets out how we comply with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (as amended) (the Act). The term "Personal Information" when used in this privacy statement has the meaning given in the Act. 2. The purposes for which we collect personal information 2.1. We will endeavour to only collect and hold personal information which is relevant to the operation of our companies. Our purpose for collecting or holding personal information about you is so that it may be used for our functions or activities, which shall include the following: (a) to provide commercial letting services to you as an apartment owner; (b) to send you newsletters, promotions and marketing material. You can chose to unsubscribe to any of our communications by following the instructions on such communications; (c) to comply with any legal requirement – including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws; (d) to implement security and fraud prevention means; (e) internal management purposes; (f) to administer accounts; (g) to facilitate product and service reviews; (h) to conduct marketing, sales and billing; and (i) to conduct training. 2.2. If personal information provided when applying for commercial letting services is incomplete and/or inaccurate, or a you choose not to provide requested personal information, it may affect our ability to enter into commercial letting services with you. 3. The kinds of personal information which we will collect 3.1. Personal information we may collect includes: (a) Name; (b) contact details (such as phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and contact names); (c) property ownership information (address, type of ownership, details of any legal structure through which property is owned, certificate of title, contract for sale); (d) bank account details; (e) information contained on photo identification documents (such as driver's licence, passport, photo identification card); (f) information contained on secondary identification documents (such as document issued by local government entity or utility provider or for strata levies, birth certificate, citizenship certificate, pension card, health card, foreign national ID card, document issued by federal or state government or tax authority); and (g) other personal details, including date of birth, nationality and marital status; and
